its definately the colder weather making it boost higher

im not sure what scott may have set the boost cut at, normally the tuner would set a boost cut at something safe for the motor (maybe a 2psi over mapped)

the ecu will try to adjust for over boosting. it could be part to do with the compensations for intake temps and wastegate.

does it hold the higher boost or does it kind of taper down at higher rpms.

this would be something to bring to scotts attention when tuning since he can only tune at the temperatures for that day.

it should still be safe as long as the car is not leaning out.
