Sour, I can respect that. However, if you do it right, and work with an engine builder or at least get their input, you can have your cake and eat it too with cam selection. Yes, you would likely need to replace the lifters if you replace the cam, but the rockers could be left alone. Plus, with the right cam, you will have a torque monster that will idle properly and cause you no problems. But, I can respect you for your decisions. It probably will work best the way you chose to go. At least it'll make you happy in the short term. A true project is never finished though. LOL
