why are you trying to keep your point by posting UK market Focus' to make your point about U.S. market Focus'?
First of all, they don't have to re-engineer anything to replace anything with inferior/cheaper parts. there are numerous factories in China as well in Taiwan that can replicate their parts using cheap materials to bring production costs for some markets. This has been a common practice with GM and Ford cars.
