I use the Valvoline synthetic as well and though I've not tracked the car, I don't plan on getting the brake fluid above 500degF anytime soon on the street, so no worries. It's cheap, it has a near DOT5 rating and is fully compatible with regular DOT3 and DOT4 fluids, just in case you leave a little in the system after bleeding.
