So that Liberty Gearbox that he has, are you able to push the clutch in from 4th gear to 3rd gear to downshift, like you normally have to do on the street? Or do you have to do a complete stop and then put it back to first gear like any other racetrack tranny a.k.a Jerico and GForce 2000. What I always believed Sfwd was is a racecar that was in street trim.
Go look at the build of it on Honda-tech.com I've been reading up on these cars for awhile now and the money it takes to build one of these just to go 9s is alot... They even say if your are not spending atleast 20,000 on your car. Don't expect to be competitive and this car has way more then 20 grand invested in it.
Motec m800
Going from 4 1600cc injectors.. to 8 injector setup.
and I also read somewhere him having over 700whp.
I guess it's all a matter of opinion. What a street car is. For me it's what the guy that works on my car did. He drove his Acura integra Gsr turbo from Orlando to New York. Made a pit stop at New Jersey changed from street tire to 24" slicks and ran a 10.7 . Later on called me telling me he ran 10.3 .
That to me is a street car.
Oh an just to add hell yeah 8s is fast.. I am even happier to see it happen in an Integra =D
