I finished the fuel pump today. Got it wired up. I've rigged it to a toggle switch and for now its located next to the fan switch where the stereo used to be. Going to get a panel soon to clean up the interior. All in due time. I set the pump up with a plug in style wire so if I go anywhere I can unplug it,.. should anyone try to steal the car,.. unless they know about the pump and how I ran the wires they wont get very far.

I also started to clean up some of the wires and the loose and unbolted items in the engine bay. Will tackle most of that tomorrow. I'll get some more pics up tomorrow as well. Fuel pump flows pretty good. Its a 140 GPH Summit brand pump. Had a made in China stamped on the bottom plate. After I modified the fuel hat,.. I tested it and hooked up some 3/8 fuel line to it. Running 3/8 fuel line as a pick up tube,.. and then all the way up to the regulator and dead headed it at the carb. Pump is pretty damn loud too. I held out the hose to test it and it shot fuel over my brothers van and almost out to the street,.. LoL I didnt expect it to be as agressive.

Anyway,.. now with a fuel pump that stays on I went to tweaking the carb some more. Reset the idle jets and purs like a lion now. I'll get a quick vid up of it as well. Much smoother idle then before with the EFI.

I'm using a shitty Cobra-R style hood for now that doesnt fit right. I'm going to use hood pins to secure it because I dont trust it to stay down. Thinking about cutting a hole in the stock hood and using a hood scoop to give the clearance I need for the carb. Sort of an old school look. Most of the younger guys probably wont like it. But old farts like me will probably dig it.

Thats all for now.
