oh I bed in my track pads.... you can use different pads on the same rotors just fine. When I get to the track I swap out pads, bed them in, then run the weekend. When I'm done I stick in the street pads and leave. I don't bother bedding them in because I don't drive the car hard on the street anyways. After a few weeks of normal driving they stop just fine.
