Yeah, maybe so, but either way - not a big deal to me. For $100, I have ZERO complaints If/when I upgrade the stuff, and spend a little more money on doing mids/highs/etc, maybe at that time I'll make sure I have them upgrade to shrinkwrapped wiring, etc. But at the cost I paid, I'm luck to have even got electrical tape
