well if you watch the making of the movie you will see that they did have real actors. christina ricci from the adams family and buffalo 66 played the main female lead. they used the actors behinds the voices as the bodies to get the animation moves for the movie.

i want to see this movie very badly i am not a huge fan of the game but i am one of animation and speacial effects.
