I suggest you start on a 600 which assuming youre wanting a sports bike you'd be looking into a suzuki gsx-r 600, a Kawasaki 636, Honda CBR 600 RR or Yamaha R6. Each one has different features and sits differntly than the other. I suggest you sit on them and just see which one feels best to you. Also recommend that you get a used bike because more than likely you will drop it or go down and would be a shame to get such a new bike and mess it up. Also make frame sliders one of your early investments after gear, can save your bike at low speeds or tips. Personally I like the CBR and the R6 but to each his own. Good luck and ride safe.
