Default i should graduate next year, and get like, a job that pays, or something

so i've been thinking about this whole thing, and getting a decent job somewhere that pays somewhat ok . figure 39-55k for first year EE bachelor degree recipients from USF.

most people will buy a car, or something.

nah, i think i'm just going to stick with the beater.

the question is

how much money do you dump into it that first year ? i'll still be living where i live now, which is dirt cheap in new tampa more than likely, i have no reason to leave there.

so what do you do with the car? the moped will obviously be upgraded to like, a supermotard cannondale or something like that, or maybe a suzuki sv or something easy and lightweight in the next year, but the 240.

1. full strip to bare body / repaint / full color change / etc / new aero / etc / interior / ultimate comfort daily driver

2. buy daily driver of some sort (ugh) / turn car into assrapingly fast trackbastard / explode cheap front bumpers each month due to being 1" off the ground at sebring / wreck and die in turn 17

3. leave it as is, parked somewhere because i refuse to change the starter

4. powerplant change

i have some crazy ideas in my head, I just don't know how feasible they are as of right now.
