Yep - buy a diesel F250 or F350 4WD. Avoid the first couple years of the 6.0 if possible. They've never been cheaper than they are right now and there will always be a resale market (all be it smaller at times) for a nice clean diesel truck. You'll get a lot more truck for your money, it'll tow ten times better/more efficiently, and you can still get leather, a sunroof, navigation, etc if that's what you're into. Escalades are just Tahoe/Suburban LT's with some cheap woodgrain and HID's...don't bother.
