Nah, I don't hate carbs, I've owned a ton of 'em. But to tell you the truth, I'm having a heck of a good time learning the inner workins of EFI. I do find it a little amusing that you carb guys keep harping on the cost of EFI yet you have no problem dropping a couple $K on some rims and $2k for a bare block and then your butt puckers at the thought of spending money on something that will give you infinitely more control over all your other expensive parts.
In the end, it's just another one of those either/or things that will get you where you want to go. I just like the challenge of learning a little more than how to read plugs and then having to dumb the engine down to the lowest common denominator (read adjust carb to cover the leanest cylinder) in order to keep it all together.
