Im sure its not street ported,you dont hear ANY overlap.. maybe just the exhast ports open,but I have been and dealt with many rotarys,and when I got yours running I know forsure it wasnt ported,I dont know what to tell you on your engine,I know for a fact it wasnt a new/fresh rebuild,The playes and rotor housings had some carbon/oil build up and to dirty to be a fresh rebuild,

I may be throwing my intake/carb on TampaTonys 85 RX7,then you will see what a street port will sound like,Not to mention he will be running a muffler off the header,and thats probally about it..

BTW to tune your carb correctly ..you need some dyno time..and shit loads of jets for a rotary tuner to play with.
