i have a feeling 300whp will be good enough for quite a while, a 2600 pound car with 300whp and some good handling abilities is a blast.
btw 270whp on a mustang dyno is about 310whp in actuality, the dynojet dynos are much more accurate.
Thats good to know. I was thinking between 3-400 whp would be plenty for a DD at least until i started breaking things...

How difficult is it to find the parts mentioned above?
I wonder how difficult it is to do machine work???? I dont foresee an issue with tearing the block down and replacing the internals, with the exception of cleaning everything up and making sure it all fits properly. I have heard that the stock internals were good up to 20lbs? Not so sure on that though, new to forced induction. Last random thought for the post.... How much weight can you take off and still be "budget"
