first motor i ever 'built' burned up with a wiseco. itty bitty motorcycle engine.
my dad's 2 stroke bikes all gave him hell with wisecos also. they expanded too much and stuck compared to whatever other brand he was using.
with SR's theyve been nothing but great. However we had to put two more crush washers in because they didn't clear the oil squirters originally.
CPS's get really hot around halfway down the piston, and they expand a bunch. moreso than the wisecos. i think the cp you're going to have to run a half a thousandth, maybe a thousandth more of piston to wall clearance. I think i'm running .0035" on my engine now. that's the same i ran on the enjuku engines that I built and never had piston trouble with them. one of them is STILL RUNNING TODAY (built in april 2005, for the record)
either way you're doing great. i'm sticking to cp's however, with titanium wrist pins.
all TR BS aside. teach me how to build better.
