best thing you can do, I picked up a set of Hoosier AS04's when Tirerack was doing a closeout on them and got almost 3 auto-X seasons out of them
Falken RT615's with -3* camber at all 4 corners. Camber causes uneven heat transfer and kills the tires faster than normal even with my Toe at -.25 all the way around. Pretty awesome for track/auto-x/mountain roads. Sucks for everything else.
Everything else doesn't really matter in my book.
As far as i've seen
www.edgeracing.com has the best prices for Falken 615's and a decent selection of lower price wheels, and they're local for you Fla guys
