Building Motors...
Two weeks ago I took a D16Y7 block, pulled A6 pistons from a CRX, put em in the Y7 block, added 1 Z6 complete, stock head, new clutch, and a Y8 tranny, put them all together and it started right up. I can happily now offer my services as an expert motor builder to the public. But aside that, it was actually quite easy. Anyone who hasn't disassembled and rebuilt a motor should. Cheap ones are everywhere. And the satisfaction and ego trip are rediculous. Go do it. Now.
