no, an automatic is a completely different transmission.... DSG and SMG are fully manual gearboxes that have the throttle and clutch motions on upshifts and downshifts done by a computer.

you can pull an M3 transmission out of an SMG car and put it into a manual M3. You can't stick ANY automatic transmission into a manual car.
