for the sake of arguing, the explorer and s/n covers are similar....not the issue.
my problem is the whole center under that cover plate you showed me remains open. it needs to be divided. look at the cover on the engine in my sig, it has two separate holes. water goes in one, out the other...not all mixed around in and behind and between.
