That's cool. So next time, take them because you want to, bring home your expensive camera, upload them to your computer, and then keep them all for your portfolio. You're probably not going to sell any from these meets when you have other bad ass photographers who don't charge. They are getting their names out there, and I'm guessing that THEN they get asked to do photoshoots and get paid for them. Word of mouth is an awesome and free way to drum up business... but coming across like you did with your statements isn't going to help your cause. Just a thought.
