TO4E "60" Trim

i was going to build a Turbo LT1 for an 88 trans am GTA... but i was going to use at LEAST a T66 w/ a .83 AR on the hot side.

T66 compressor map Notice the peak airflow value as compared to the 60 trim... the 60trim peaks out at about 2.3 PR...or about 19psi. at about 19 psi, full tilt, the 60 trim will only push ~50 Lb/min of air whereas the T66 will push a whopping 72 lb/min of air at about 25psi.

roughly speaking, 1 lb/min of air is capable of making 10 HP. i remember reading that somewhere... so theorhetically speaking, the T66 can make 720 HP, and the 60 trim could only make ~500 HP. But thats probably at peak volumetric efficiency and Brake mean effective pressure. wherever the peak airflow occurs in your RPM band is where your torque would peak on the Dyno... but you wont know that till you match up your hotside.
