Just thought I would sign up and hail my support to Importguy....So sooooo sorry this had to happen to you guys. But one thing's for sure, if it is as popular as it's been goin, and you guys make it thru allright after this whole situation, you might just KEEP THE CAR....put it in your shop...under glass, and make it a show piece of all the work you've done. It'd be like a museum piece....and people from all around could come see what this guy did to you...and you can still show your work..and be proud! And if you think that's a good idea, you can have a donation jar/box/whatever I am surrreee people will donate mainly due to how FUNNY this guy is and how you got to keep his mom's car because of HIS stupidity. I know I'd at LEAST throw in a dollar or two...Mannnnn if you do go thru with that...shoot, I want the credit for the idea!

PS: oh and one other thing to think about....since the guy brought his GF down to make a $60 downpayment....isnt' that like admitting that he needed to pay the 16k...or however much? dont forget to bring that into consideration. Which basically says hey I admit I owe that money, here's 60 in good faith can you let me make payments?! blah blah....ok......soooo? something to bring up to the lawyers about.

It's like saying hey I know I said I didnt kill that guy, but If I go to jail and turn myself in for a day, can i get out tomorrow? and then come back in again later to serve the rest of my sentence?
