moral of the story, make sure there is always a signed work order and that the person getting the work done actually owns the car or atleast has permission from his/her parents. and dont expect some random nobody off the street to be good for $16000 without knowing that he is good for it. thats a lot of fucking money!

+1 I am a Gen Contractor and I made that mistake also and lost money BUT wasent near 16k, thank god. I KNOW I learned a lession and will never do that again
