Yes. I know I ran slower. I struggled more with the back end in the afternoon session. Even after being aware of the slickness, on the next few runs I tried to take it slow and still drifted a few feet through the slowest of transitions.

I think that black top starts to deteriorate pretty rapidly and those really small marbles of rock & rubber (that look like a stickier, rubbery groove) pile up on the higher lateral G apexs.

See you next time and next time will be at least 8 weeks away for the Fairgrounds. The Porsche club and Sunriders will both have September events, but that's a long way out for me. After you start running every other weekend, or so, 8 weeks is punishment.
