Congrats Loren! Good luck up there. The videl of 'the brick' looked like it was a sporty little car. Wish I was there... actually I'll post something a little closer to the race and send Jay a message saying my 'services' will be available. I'll be cheap. I'll pay my $500 and my transport but all the team will have to do is feed me. Plus I'll need space on the car for my sponsor. (Yeah right...)
TAJ applied for Texas yesterday with the hopes of one of our sponsors will belly up to the bar again. One of our main sponsors who made the trip up to CMP with us but did not drive is so addicted to this stuff he was looking for cars yesterday for 2009!! I should put him to good use since in 2009 I'll be going through my SCCA drivers school and chasing my SCCA regional racing license with the national license in my sights in 2010. Runoffs in 2011!! A guy can dream, can't he???
I read somewhere that in 2009 the LeMon series is looking at 12 dates, with at least one in FL or GA and 2 at CMP!! WOO HOO!!
Speaking of future LeMons, there is a BMW 325 I think on CL for $1250...aside from being an automatic is there anything else wrong with it? All the BMW's seemed to have the speed but just couldn't last the entire race... I liked how the BMW performed so what should I look for if I was to go that route?
