How about you PM me when your BMC melts along with your oil drain, and the paint on your hood above your turbo starts discoloring / cracking. The amount of heat transferred fto the block from the turbo is minimal at best.
How many people with large turbos/top mount SR's do
you know that melt BMC? Not many that i know of, and what 3 extra inches you save on a bottom mount you think will make that big of a diffrence? Elaborate on the oil drain i fail to see why this would be a problem, maby if you where running a hose clamp/hose combo but why would you do that?

Kinda like people that slam their cars and change their oil pans like underwear.
Better intercooler piping? How? Show me any SR Top/Bottom that dosent run a 90 off the turbo, its pointing the same way nevermind the placement of top or bottom its still got to go the same way. Less sharp exhaust turns? If you properly tune the runners with the exhaust pulses it will operate just as efficent, you dont pay 1500+ for a full race manifold for looks, you pay for the research and development put into the manifold design so that it operates efficently. Less chances of shit getting melted, still dont think 3'' is going to make that big of a diffrence in tempeture, and the turbo sits right next to the brake lines to the drivers caliper on a bottom mount.
