The first one is a little crude. It's just an SSAC with the flange hacked off and an EWG added. The second one is pretty sweet, but I just don't see any advantage to it. It's not a shorter route, or better, or worse; just different. And he gets one million vertigo cool points... whatever the exchange rate is on those. And he has a clean setup even though I don't like blue.
He doesnt get a million vertigo points for being different, he gets a million vertigo points for a more efficient design. Bottom mount has potential for better intercooler piping, less sharp exhaust turns, lower center of gravity, and less shit getting melted. Top mount = for looks only 99% of the time. Kinda like people that slam their cars and change their oil pans like underwear.
