This my sound stupid but get a buddy and get him to try to start the car while you go under the car and hit the tank about in the area where the fuel pump is. If you get lucky while your beating it will start....that means the fuel pump took a shit.

Belive it or not this works as a test sometimes....kinda like hittin a starter with a hammer to get it to turn over.
