Default My Valmoto rebuild

What’s up everyone. As you probably remember I crashed on the Ozello Trail about 3 months ago and got banged up pretty good. I ended up braking 3 ribs, my sternum, and my collarbone in 3 places. So it was a fun few weeks. After I started feeling better I got around to seeing the damage to the bike. At first look it didn't look that bad.

But after taking it apart there were a few more parts that i had to get, to fix it up.

Since i had to replace a lot of things i decided to change it up a little from the last time it was painted.

I started off by painting the rims to match with candy apple red on the base and a pearl black on the spokes. (it shines big time in the light)

Then i figured i should upgrade the brakes since that is what i believe got me into trouble in the first place. (I added a 19x20 brembo master cylinder and swapped out the lines for dual S.S. lines)

Since i had to replace the front fender i figure why not get a carbon fiber fender and do some custom work to it

First layer of silver

Now with the candy apple red over it

Some custom work on the inlays also

After replaceing the headlights, engine case cover, fairing stay, and most of the plastics i had them repainted to the valmoto replica. Plus i added a few personal touches.

(new HID's)

Finished paint work

The carbon heelguards were candied over aswell to match the front fender

(custome airbrushing on the lower cover and on the inlays) (if you can't tell what it is, there are hundereds of moving sprockets with many layers. It is hard to get a good pic of it but it came out great and looks great in person)

And the bike finished and put together

Just as before all the logo's and markerings on the bike are painted on. (there is not a singal sticker on the bike) I give it up to Paul at Fat Kidd Customs for doing his magic once again and turning my bike in to a piece of art. He has out done himself once again and surpass all my expectations. Hope you all enjoy.
