Loren on the forums here is getting 40+ MPG out of his Yaris, i am looking to get close to 40 with my civic this tank, corolla's regularly get over 40 and the Hybrids over 60. Any of them will more than halve your gas bill.
I am definately looking at the Yaris as well. (Have to wait weeks for a black one to be built though) I need a car that will justify a payment and full coverage insurance within my current gas bill expenditure. My truck is paid off and I have just basic coverage. Right now, the 60mpg of the Smart is the deciding factor. If I could get my hands on an Insight I'd try that out as well.
All that being said...if Dodge had made the Razor, it would be game over.
