It's called ENDORSEMENTS. you need to submit reciepts and photos usually, and this goes to underwriting. I once had teh wheels on my Civic added to my policy. Added a little extra premium, but at least they were covered.

Of course none of this means you will get anything close to what you paid back if it's stolen. Cash value is what most policies are based on, not stated value or agreed value. Of course, that is unless you ask for an agreed value policy. Good luck with that one.

I currently have an agreed amount policy on the Cadillac through Grundy, but they won't insure what you drive.
