I bought a 93' Probe GT yesterday for 900 bucks..steal. Besides minor interior issues there's one that really needs to be fixed but I'm not even sure what it is.

When your driving and you hit a pothole or your shifting gears there is a clunking type noise that comes out from the rear passenger side wheel area. Got a little carried away yesterday on turning and all (checking out the suspension), and then there was some smoke coming from there as well.

I'm thinking, is this a brake system issue or a suspension problem? I really want to get this fixed and know a few junkyards, the thing is I dont know what the hell to look for.
