here is an image of the Display or "gauge unit", gauge unit measures 1.25" x 1.25" so it's very small. and can be mounted almost anywhere even on a steering column, the main unit is larger at 2"x2"x4" but can be tucked behind the dash or under a seat, completely out of sight.

The Good:

once installed Fuel Miser will give up to 22% fuel mileage increase in normal driving. with no intervention by the driver.

My Sentra Went from 24 miles per gallon around town to 29 with NO other modifications. That's a solid 20% increase (I saw 32MPG on one test but was not able to duplicate the conditions)

at $4 per gallon it's like paying $3.20/Gal or saving 80 cents off EVERY GALLON

The Bad:

The system Dampens the action of the throttle so response time is slightly slower when the system is turned on economy mode. but this is the system working. Quick jabs of the throttle are the worst thing for fuel economy, They burn lots of fuel but offer very little acceleration.

When Switched on Throttle input is answered by Smooth Constant acceleration.

The Ugly:

By using Load based monitoring the Miser keeps the engine running much closer to it's optimum range of efficiency. the problem is the system must be switched off to regain full power. it's not a problem once your used to hitting the switch when you want to pass a car or for racing. However power may decrease by 20-30% when turned on. (A small price to pay for the added efficiency in my opinion)

1. Processor Based Dual MAP sensor, senses Atmospheric and manifold pressure the sensor references these values every 5ms to provide VERY accurate manifold pressure

2. Programmable Manifold Pressure Display 3 Digit LED display (RED) which displays manifold Pressure in, +/- PSI, InHg, MMHg, BAR, KPA, etc.

3. Programmable, Remote Mount, Status LED. one red and one green can be programed to come on at any preset engine load, for example I use mine green when in economy mode and red when demand is high or "power" mode (I can add a buzzer to either channel for $5)

4. 6 foot VDO Gauge Tubing kit. with adapters for 1/8 and 1/4 NPT thread
