Default Springs and Shocks

I have a 1996 Civic Sedan (LX)

I would like to, in the near future, install some new springs and shocks. I do not race the car, I do at times, drive it kind of spiritedly. I dont need anything that will make me handle as if its on rails. I want a nice and easy lowered stance to it. Nothing major, just cosmetic. As for the ride, it must ride very smooth with little to no hops skip and bumps.

Hopefully someone can provide me with the right info to the most comfortable ride with a lowered stance.

I dully appreciate your help in this matter.

I used to own a del sol with KYB GR2 shocks mated with Tien S. Tech springs. I really liked the handling and the appearance. I understand that the car is smaller and weighs less, so I dont know if that same setup would work on the Sedan.

Please list what you think would work, and why, and possibly spring/shock ratings????

Like I said, this car needs to ride as smooth as a babies ass, cause its main purpose is for driving my children around......

Thanks again
