well, i was just out cruising around because i didn't have anything else to do...

and i see this WRX with some 17inch wheels, louder exhaust...looked to be 3 inch...otherwise i had no idea what he was running...

so we get onto the bridge, slow to 40mph and i let him take the hit....

big mistake...he proceeds to get the jump and continues to pull on me up to 100mph before he shuts it down...me being 3 cars behind.

so i'm thinking...he got the hit, sounded like he was in 2nd gear...i was in third...wasn't in my sweet spot..with tuning as it is right now...i'll run him again.


so we still have some room left on the bridge...and we're doing 55mph this time...right where i'm starting to make a little power...and i take the hit...and proceed to stay ahead of him as he slowly pulls and finally gets even with me at about 110mph or so...


gave the kid a thumbs up and talked to him as we both turned into the same gas station...turns out he's making 263whp as he just dynoed at mastro subaru...name is alex...real nice guy...i actually got a ride in it back over the bridge and he took the car to 140mph with relative ease...


anyway, his car was much faster than mine...thats just how it goes sometimes.
