3way, 4way, ect. it is nothing but a marketing gimmick.

The best type of speaker hands down is a component set with a good crossover. It allows each speaker to seperatley pplay what it performs best at. And you want your speakers to have some bass. Personally I cross my sub @ 63hz @ 24dB slope. Mid bass is pretty from 63/80hz up to 220hz.... I don't think I sub should ever play above 80hz.
