Lots of good thoughts have gone down the shitter. To name only one...Once upon a time an unruly and disruptive kid was brought quickly back into line with a good swift swat to the ass. Nowadays that same kid seems to be suffering from an attention disorder or perhaps a touch of autism. That means the rest of the world has to put up with their antics because to do otherwise would be unfair to the little bastige. MEanwhile, the unfortunate sould who might apply the paddle is thrown in jail and labled a child abuser or maybe even a sexual predator for daring to touch the evil demon inappropriately. These are probably the same kids who never crack a book in school or do their homework and receive a "Delayed Success" grade instead of getting an "F" and having to take the class or the entire grade over until he gets it right. Then I have to fire them because my boss hired them to be a lab tech and they don't know that there's a difference between a gram and an ounce and don't want to learn the difference.
