well i went yesterday(sat.) morning at 11am to get the exhaust installed on my car. well it just so happen to be the same place who built my motor, and has the dyno.

(one stop shop

)
well get the exhaust put on, and go to put my new injectors and walbro 255... well my 255 decided to grow legs and walk away
well, this is probably a first but we actually used a T.R.E. 255 pump that was for a ford escort
i ended up cutting a pretty big hole in the floor of the car to have access to the pump to change it without dropping the tank, get the pump changed. check everything out to make sure the escort pump was gonna work, and everything seemed fine. so we through in the bigger injectors and strapped it on the dyno.
well we ran into problem after problem. and i must say the guys at Lakeland Dyno tune & service are some of the nicest people i've met. we stayed all through the night and into the morning trying one thing after another....ended up calling it quits and i got home at 8am today. so ya i was there about 21 hours yesterday...
messed with it today, did a compression check and it was at 160 across? super low... so we check the timing and everything. ended up putting the stock cam gears on and resetting the timing, and BAM! 240psi across....
will be checking the valve lash tomorrow, and the car will sit till we attempt to retune it next weekend. hopefully we got all the kinks worked out.
Big thanx to Brad from lakeland dyno, and John Solero (modified racing inc.). aswell as everyone who stayed and pulled an all nighter with us, trying to get this thing running right. It is greatly appreciated
