Yep. I remember when Evergreen speedway was still Seattle International Raceway (S.I.R.), and they started putting up houses around the track. Then they sold these houses in the off season, and the new owners started crying about the noise levels to the county. IIRC, the county told them to go to their realitor.

I heard one person complaining while at McDonalds one day while I lived there about the track noise. I asked them if they knew that trees dampened sound. They said yeah. I then asked them if they knew why the track was put where it was. They said no. I told them it was because it was surrounded by trees, but now, because they had to have their new home, they cut down the trees. Then I asked them if their realitor told them about the track before they bought their home. They said yes, so I told the guy to STFU because he had nothing to complain about then because he obviously knew about the track. He looked at me with a blank look on his face. LOL
