Photoshop was really only used to crop/border/mark. First one did have a curves adjustment though. As for why they look better than they do in person - I think you just don't take the time to stop and look at things. You also can't crop with your eyes - taking a good picture doesn't just mean including things, it means excluding extraneous stuff that you don't want. /philosophy

Yeah, it was me and Michael. You should've yelled out my name or something. Did you get any pics? It doesn't take a super expensive lens to get good pics, most of the ones posted were with my 70-210 4.5-5.6 which is circa 1989 and sells for <$80 now.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I really enjoyed this outing, first time in quite a while that I've been happy with a good number of my shots. Once Michael posts his, mine probably won't look as good.
