Hey Xavier,



Here is a drawing I did to help illustrate the dimensions of our B series retainer.





Use this to compare against the retainers you have.



When I compare our retainer to what you had in the picture that you posted on the website, it appears as though your retainers are correct.



The retainers your friend posted look more like K retainers than B retainers.



We have done extensive testing and our retainers will clear factory valve guides and stem seals when used with any camshafts we offer.



The fact that you are experiencing clearance issues between the retainer and the valvestem seal indicates to me that either your installed height on the valvespring is too short, or you have aftermarket guides and/or valvestem seals that do not match factory spec.



I think that the installed height is most likely your problem.



Installed height for B series springs should be 1.320” on the intake side.



A few questions that need to be answered are:



1.) What keepers are you using?

2.) What valves are you using?

3.) What is your valvesprings installed height?
