That does NOT work on carbon as the surface material actually erodes(sp) away and must be replaced. You will be sanding the raw carbon--not good. 15 years of composites fab here, and I know how they make these parts.
Aren't they cleared after production?I understand you cant sand raw carbon fiber,but most of the aftermarket hoods/trunk lids ect today come cleared?No?I've only sanded and buffed one carbon fiber hood on a $100,000 Mustang,but I am positive it was cleared.
