when phase separation occurs in your tank you might not even notice anything right away, except performance. the fuel is constantly mixing around, so you still might get 10% ethanol out of the injectors but will it burn correctly if its bonded to all that water? hell no. bottom line we need to use less gas as a planet. ethanol was a good idea. the only real way to go is to is to kill off 90% of the population.
