Default Anyone going to the Benz test drive?

It's at Tampa Bay Downs on 7-4,5,6. There is an FSF event the same weekend, so I took the Saturday 4-6PM slot for the Benz event. Figured I would head out after the FSF Saturday practice. It will be a nice warm up for burning the tires off an AMG. If anyone can give me a ride, I would appreciate it. My tires will be bald by then.

Here is a description from someone in Texas...
Yup! I was there in Houston's. Everything there was FREE. It was absolutely sick. No waiting in long lines (because they purposely didn't publicize it too much for this reason) and all the free test drives you could ever imagine. I was drifting an AMG around hairpin turns....alright, not too fast but still drifted that shit all over the track. And they also let you go with test drivers that were drifting at about 50-60mph! (i was close to pee'ing in my pants.....and creaming my pants at the same time )

Free food, free everything there. They raced an E46 M3 against one of the C-class AMGs, but it was stupid and obviously biased since the drivers were both Mercedes reps and even had the uniforms on (those retards didin't fool us!). If you're on one of the touring cities, I HIGHLY recommend going to it. 21+, oh yeah.
Here's another...
i just came back from the event. It was one of the coolest car events i have ever been to. I didnt pay a dime, and got so much for nothing! The hot lap with the professional driver was a highlight. They take you out in the C32 AMG and you get sideways in every corner they also have a track that they have soaked with soapy water so you can test out the traction control and all wheel drive of the C-class. and there is also an autocross type track with a long long straightaway that you can get up to 65mph+ on, and then slam your brakes They had an awesome tent with massage chairs, x-box games, lots of really good catered free food, free soda/powerade/water. the whole event was very well planned and executed. The best part was that you could really push the cars hard on the test tracks, and no one gets pissy(unlike mazda rev it up, where they yell at you for squealing tires). I highly recommend going if it comes to your city (and didnt fill up yet)
