installed thermostat today.

battery is dead again. not sure i want to even try finding out where the power draw is coming from...then again it did sit for a week without being started. probably going to throw a moroso battery cutoff switch on it, maybe on the back bumper or something, since i don't have to worry about the clock or radio presets that much.

some of the bushings and stuff is in. still waiting on SPL Parts, some of the big spherical solid type bushings are on backorder and taking the slow boat from japan i guess. should have just about everything within the next week or two, and finally get some of that worked out. once suspension is on and dial in the alignment, i can go get it tuned.

also need to pick up an MBC, 14psi should tune in between 320-345whp, i want to throw some 100 octane in it, and do 19-21 psi. i'd like to see how close to 400whp i can get, the stock intake manifold and camshafts will probably work against me, but we'll see.


ps - starting to work on the mazda some. have a few of the minor goodies coming in. things that make up for the car's weak points...solid shifter base bushings, rear engine mount upgrade, maybe a short shifter (it's a bit pricey to be honest), upgrade the BOV since the stocker doesn't like much more than stock levels, and an intake (since the stock airbox breathes all of it's air through an opening about 3" x 2" ). once that is on, i will start working on the larger components (goal is a 12.5 car - plenty good for FWD - if i need faster, that's what the 240 is for )
