my bad, this is what i meant:

well the bumper is actually broken, so without a sheet metal screw going into the fender or some glue, its NOT gonna stay on correctly

how it works:
a screw goes into a plastic piece* that goes through a piece of sheet metal and then through the bumper into the fender. but since the bumper is broken nothing will hold for very long...its a common problem with hondas.

*when the screw is tightened the plastic splits, causing expansion, keeping it in place...like a molly does in plaster, only reusable.
