Major suggestion... And take it from me, Ive been through 3000+$ motor swaps that never got finished...

Drive the car like it is, put some money aside from every check... Do RESEARCH and I mean like hours and hours of it... Find out what motor you want, then to more research and make sure thats what you want... Then when you think thats what you want, do even more... Then look into what it takes to put that motor in... Once you have all this memorized... Do more research to make sure you didnt leave anything out... As you do all that, you should have a good portion of the money set aside.

Then buy the motor you want, and the rest of the items needed. And go ahead.
