^^i thought the same however explained it is this: when working on your car u get to "know" ur car, in's/out's etc....anyone can turn (well most lol) the key and get to driving fill up the gas tank etc....however truly "knowing" your car is not when its on and running but, its when u start hearing a rattle that it's not supposed to make and know (through research and some experience) that it can be valve guides gone bad, loose dp bolts etc...by no means does this mean to dog the shit out the car etc and intentionally see what happens....but this saying promotes working on your car knowing the ins and outs and knowing what ur car is supposed to do and what it isnt supposed to do....ur brakes are supposed to work u know this but when u brake they aren't supposed to squeal and u also know this therfore u roll up the sleeves and get to work...hope now it kinda makes more sense..

to op good luck on ur swap i have an rb25 myself sitting in my garage accumlating parts to swap it in......again do not rice urs like i have mine and K.I.S (keep it simple)

cheers
