Not a horrible idea. I may be out, my clutch cable has stretched and I can't get the car in gear.

I'll order a new adjustable one from 5.0 Resto but it won't be here by Wednesday.

I'm definitely down when the car is driveable again.

The heads up thing might be a bit bad for my slowness though.
